This is the first year for the Oogie Boogie Bash! This fun filled night will take place in Disney California Adventure. You probably already know this is what used to be called Mickey’s Halloween Party and happened over at Disneyland. This year this special ticketed event will happen on select nights between September 17-October 31. Tickets range in price from $110 – $145 depending on which night you choose to go. Some nights do offer a small discount for annual passholders. The party begins at 6pm each night and ends at 11pm. Park mix in begins at 3pm on Tuesday and Thursday parties and 2pm on Sunday parties along with the October 29 & 30th parties. Alright now on to the fun details!
Party guest are encouraged to dress up! You can read the costume guidelines here. Be prepared to bring home a lot of candy!! Your bag fills up quickly as you make your way through the treat trails. We like to bring an extra bag for all of our candy.
As I said before this is the first year for the Oogie Boogies Bash so I am sure old elements will be mixed in with a lot of new elements. My family and I are excited to see all the new happenings it will bring. Here is what we know so far.
There will be an interactive stage show called Mickey’s Trick or Treat that will take place at Disney Theatre in Hollywood Land. This is the same theatre that holds Disney steroids for sale with credit card Jr Dance Party Live!You can join Mickey and his pals for a story, dancing and a sweet treat to take home! Showtimes are 6:25pm, 7:10pm, 7:55pm, 9:25pm and 10:15pm*
Also happening in Hollywood Land will be the DescenDance. This fun dance party based on the hit Disney movie Descendents will feature the Greatest Dance Crew from the Isle of the Lost! Showtimes are 6:15pm, 7:30pm, 8:45pm, 9:45pm, and 10:30pm. *
After booging down head over to Villain Grove where the Redwood Creek Challenge has been transformed with lights and sounds into the forest where all the villians live. You never know which one you might run into along the twisty turning path!
Don’t miss the Frightfully Fun Parade where Mickey and Minnie will be dressed in their Halloween best. Watch as characters from the Haunted Mansion and classic Disney villains make their way down the parade route. New this year will be the Cheshire Cat bringing up the rear of the parade. There will only be one parade happening at 8:10pm.*
Wine Country Trattoria has a dining package for the Frightfully Fun Parade. This is a 3-course prix-fixe dinner that includes a starter, entree and dessert. The children’s meal also includes a popcorn filled Oogie Boogie Popcorn bucket. For all the adults who are kids at heart you can purchase a popcorn bucket separately. Also when purchasing the dining package you will receive a voucher that allows you to watch the parade from a reserved viewing area. An all new World of Color has been designed just for the Oogie Boogie Bash called Villainous. This Halloween night time spectacular will be hosted by none other than Oogie Boogie himself! There will be two showings one at 9:00pm and 10:45pm.*
